Our Big Question this term is...

What is an Adventure?

We will explore this question through every lesson in our curriculum, understanding how each discipline can help us develop our knowledge and skills. 

 

 We have lots of wonderful books to adventure through the world of children's literature!

 

                   

English

In English, we will be reading the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' by Michael Rosen. We will be using our Phonics knowledge to write a recount of the story.

Maths

This term we are going to be learning about numbers to 10. Understanding how to count forwards/backwards from a given number within 10, add and subtract within 10 and identifying number bonds to 10.

Science

In Science, we will be learning about everyday materials. Developing our understanding of what objects are made from, their properties and how we can describe them.
